Physiofit Leeds Ltd

Pilates Terms & Conditions >>

Payment Options:

Physiofit Leeds (‘Physiofit') operates its Pilates classes as courses which coincide with the Leeds City Council School half term blocks (the ‘Course'). They are usually 6-8 weeks long and payment is to be made in full in advance of the start of each Course. Payment can be made in the following ways:

Your place on a Course must be confirmed with Physiofit before making payment. Payment alone does not guarantee a place.

Refund Policy:

Please note we cannot offer refunds, unless under exceptional circumstances where we may consider cases on an individual basis. If this is the case please email the coordinators at pilates@physiofitleeds.co.uk.

In the unfortunate event of a class being cancelled such as due to staff sickness or adverse weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative class to attend during the Course or during the catch up week (see below for details). You will not be able to carry the class over to the following Course as credit or offered a refund for the cancelled class.

Missed classes/Class catch ups:

You may be able to catch up on a class missed during the Course, however this is not guaranteed. We provide 2 ways to catch up on missed classes.

Missed classes cannot be carried over to the next Course.

During the Summer Holidays, a smaller timetable of classes is offered. Payment can be made in advance for as many classes as you wish to attend. Classes can also be attended ad hoc, paying the higher ad hoc fee. One catch up class can be carried over to the Summer Holidays from the June/July Course. Missed classes from the Summer Holidays cannot be carried over to the Sept/Oct Course.

If you are unable to attend for a Course but have been attending classes regularly, you may attend ad hoc classes for one term only, only if there is a space available in a suitable class. Your place in a class will not be kept for you. These classes are charged at the ad hoc fee.

The ad hoc fee is as set out on the Physiofit website from time to time.

Instructor Changes:

In the event that your usual instructor is unable to teach the class, Physiofit will endeavour to provide cover using another Physiofit Pilates instructor so that your class is not cancelled. Therefore, your instructor may change without advance notice, and this may also be the case for an entire Course.

Class format changes:

In the event that your instructor cannot attend the studio to teach your class, the class may be offered remotely via Zoom if they are able to teach from their home. You will be notified of this prior to the class and relevant class log in details will be provided. If you are unable to attend on Zoom you can attend a catch up class in the usual ways detailed above.

Parking:

Parking is available (subject to availability) at the back of the Orchard building (right turn just before the building) or to the side of the building (past the Orchard taking the first turning on your right). There is also on street parking if the car park is full.

Conduct and Behaviour:

You will be asked to complete a registration form prior to your first class. It is important that this is completed as part of our legal and safety requirements. Please inform your instructor of any new health issues that they will not be aware of from your registration form and please complete a new registration form at the earliest opportunity if your health condition changes.

Physiofit operate a zero tolerance policy to any form of misconduct or abusive behaviour towards staff or other class members. Anyone reported for such behaviour will be asked to leave their class immediately and will forfeit any remaining classes of the Course.

Exclusion of Liability:

As with all fitness and exercise programmes, either in person in a studio, a live video class, or using a pre-recorded class, you need to use your common sense. By performing any fitness exercises, but especially with reduced supervision (live via video) or without supervision (pre-recorded videos), you are performing them at your own risk. Physiofit will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of you participating in a Physiofit class.

If you have concerns over your physical condition, you should seek the guidance from a medical professional prior to participating in classes. If an instructor deems an individual’s health may be endangered through participation in a class, they reserve the right to refuse access to the class. Physiofit does not accept liability for injury to clients on the premises including within our car parks.

Lost Property:

All personal belongings are brought onto the premises at your own risk and Physiofit does not accept liability for any loss or damage to property of clients.

If items are left/found, please hand to your instructor who will pass onto Reception for safe keeping. If you think you have lost an item on our premises, please ask Reception who can check lost property. If items are not claimed within 28 days they will be donated to charity.

Complaints:

Please email pilates@physiofitleeds.co.uk for a copy of our complaints procedure.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version of these terms can be found on our website. By attending Physiofit classes we will assume you have accepted the current terms and conditions, and you will also be asked to confirm your acceptance of these at the start of each Course.

These terms were updated 30/11/22.
