Procedures for Face to Face appointments at The Orchard Physio Centre
Physiofit Leeds Ltd has undertaken a full risk assessment following the COVID19 pandemic and we are informed by guidelines from The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, PhysioFirst and Public Health England. The safety of our clients, our staff and their families is our priority.
Admin Procedures
Reception services will be provided remotely for taking enquiries and bookings for appointments. Payment will be in advance via the website facility wherever possible.
Each patient will be assessed remotely by a physiotherapist for an individualised risk assessment to ascertain the appropriateness for a face to face appointment. Factors taken into account will include patient age, past medical history and current health status as well as the urgency of the presenting problem.
- For a new patient or new problem this will be done as part of the initial remote consultation by the treating physiotherapist.
- For a returning patient this will be done via telephone prior to the appointment being booked with the treating physiotherapist.
