Do I need to bring anything with me to the class?
We provide all the equipment that you need but recommend that you bring a towel to lay on the mat for hygiene reasons.
What happens if I miss a class?
There are 2 ways in which you can make up missed classes.
- You can attend an alternative class during the course. These must be booked via reception to make sure there is space, and can only be booked less than a week in advance.
- After every course there is a break week, when we run a small timetable of classes which can be used as catch up classes. The timetable for this is released for booking 2 weeks before the end of each course.
Missed classes cannot be carried over to the next course.
What should I wear?
You need to wear loose clothing that you can move in easily. Most people wear tracksuit bottoms or leggings, and a t-shirt and jumper/sweatshirt. The mat based classes can be done in socks or barefeet but we ask that socks are worn for the reformer classes for hygiene reasons. Non-slip Pilates socks are recommended on the reformer for safety reasons and these can be purchased at reception.
What happens at the end of the course?
Your place in your class is provisionally retained until you let us know you no longer want to keep it. Payment is taken at the end of the previous course to guarantee the place. At the end of each course your instructor will discuss with you whether you are ready to move up to the next level.
