Neurological Physiotherapist
Laura’s passion as a Neuro Physiotherapist lies in supporting her patients to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. Laura specialised in Neuro Physiotherapy soon after qualifying, working in both NHS and private settings. Her experience spans Neurology, Neuro Outpatients, Neuro Rehabilitation, Cardiology (with a focus on hypoxic brain injuries), Neurosurgery, Neuro intensive care (ICU) and high dependency (HDU) work as well as Stroke Rehabilitation.
Laura qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2016 after completing an MSc at York St John University. Before this, she earned a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology from Leeds Metropolitan University.
Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, Laura worked in Sports Science at Leeds Metropolitan University. She also supported the Great Britain Freestyle Kayaking Team from 2008 to 2015, providing video analysis and sports massage during team training and major competitions. During this period, she led video analysis for 10-time World Champion Claire O'Hara.
